During the VDW the city has been divided into areas. The aim is to provide greater publicity, make visiting the activities easier and encourage the influx of visitors. Each day, an area will be officially opened so that visitors can discover a number of events on foot. The areas and the days on which they will be official opened are:- Route Centre: - Wednesday, 19 September - Route Ruzafa: Thursday, 20 September
Anyone can hold a design or creativity-related activity during VDW. There is a section on our website where you can register your event. When registering, you can also request support from the ADCV to use a space on the VDW routes.
Exhibitions, work presentations, official openings, workshops, gatherings, showrooms, awards ceremonies, open days, installations, street activities, etc...
This edition the activities are divided into 3 categories.VDW Routes: Individual and collective exhibitions in commercial places for two zones of the city, Centre and Ruzafa.Big VDW: Activities with a huge volume, either by position or by the company that organizes it, that cannot be framed on the Routes.VDW City: Urban circuit consisting of shops whose content, format, or philosophy is related to design.
No, it’s not mandatory, but we recommend you organise your activity within these routes or at least as close as possible to the areas marked by VDW (City Centre and Ruzafa). The date should coincide with the official opening for each of the routes, as that way you’ll benefit from more visitors!
